Free tour Saturday, April 8 at 10am

First, the good news: Dawn is letting me do another tour when I'm in town. The bad news is that you have to register, and it's limited to the first 20 people.

Dawn, of course, is trying to prevent a repeat of December 28, when we expected 30 people and had almost 150! While the publicity was great, I felt we shortchanged a lot of people, making them wait or come back, not having sufficient parking, etc. I'd much rather have a few people have a great experience, than a lot of people have a good experience. (I guess that's why we're opening a small B&B and not a large hotel.)

So, if you're interested in Lancaster history, 18th century architecture, home renovation, building codes, or just curious what we've been up to for the last 14 months, please or call me at 717-471-6035 (after 10am Eastern) and make a reservation. The tour will last about 90 minutes and cover the mansion and outbuildings. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes as it's still very much a construction site, and be prepared to go up and down stairs.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to see it finished in the coming years, but this may be your only chance to see it in progress.
