Separation
We decided that when the restoration starts, Dawn will move out there by herself to supervise the work. That’s a big move – in twelve years, the longest we’ve been apart was six months, and even then we saw each other every weekend. Unfortunately, one of us has to be there, and Dawn drew the short straw. Our neighbor, a general contractor, said it was good only one of us would be there – renovation is very stressful on couples.
Then again, so is separation.
